My daughter is a typical three year old. She cries when she can't wear a dress and when she can't eat eat EVERYTIME daddy eat eats. Yes, I know what I just wrote. She smiles on cue, just when you get mad at her and makes you forget about everything else. She melts your heart with a kiss and then throws a fit if you ask her to sleep in anything else other than her night night gown and she is petrified of THRILLER. She actually used to LOVE Michael Jackson, but then I ruined that (Don't ask me why, it is a loooong story). She loves acting like she is frozen and can only be unfrozen if someone kisses her and says UNFREEZE. Anyhoo, what I am saying is...by just looking in from the outside, my daughter Genesis seems to be a normal Toddler. WRONG!!!!
She is really a super hero or super toddler or super something that fights crime in her sleep. See, I knew you wouldn't believe me! While the rest of the world is off going night night, she is going off to fight fight. I wouldn't believe it myself, if every time the sun went down, I weren't accidently in her way as she kicks and screams at evil toys. I have actually been the victim of more than enough un-intentional kicks in the head and the body part area.
Now, I am not quite sure how she does it by still managing NOT to leave the house, or my even my bed rather, but, someone other than her daddy has got to be paying the price. She tosses and turns and kicks and screams and yells out, "NO MICHAEL JACKSON!!!" Then she pushes me out of harms way, as I lay dangling from the side of the bed hanging on for dear life. Oh save me Genesis, save me! But, there is only so much that a Super toddler can do. I must gather my own strength to save myself as she finishes up the night battling swiper no swipping! She doesn't want my help during these periods. I will only get in the way. There is baby crime that needs to be dealt with and dealt with swiftly and only she can do it. She is SUPER GENESIS. The toddler superhero and I love her even more so for being so brave and for doing what I, her daddy, could never do.
